Is it possible to spray UPVC windows and doors?

One of our aims here at Pro-Dec is to lead the way using spraying in Northern Ireland and with that, we are now introducing UPVC windows and doors spraying. Using a special coating called Kolorbond, it is now possible to paint PVCu, (uPVC), PVC and other hard plastic such as ABS, polycarbonate, acrylic and polyester powder coatings. Designed in the UK by Technispray Paints, they’ve created paints for plastics which form a molecular cross bond with the plastic surface. What does this mean? Kolorbond paint, applied by us, will adhere to the plastic for 10 years and more.

Why spraying instead replacing your old windows and doors?

The cost of replacing a single UPVC window in N.Ireland, on average, is between £300 and £400. To renovate the windows and doors in a house can be an expensive venture but our ethos here at Pro-Dec is to restore, not replace. By applying the Kolorbond paint, you have successfully upgraded your home for a much smaller price than you would pay for replacing all your windows and doors. When UPVC windows are sprayed by our qualified on-site applicators, you are guaranteed a finish that is extremely colour stable and UV resistant. It will hold its colour without excessive fading, and the surface of window profile is protected from UV degradation by applying the Kolorbond paint. Through this, we can offer a superb finish to regenerate tired and damaged window frames that will be protected from sun damage for years to come. The paint does not contain harmful chemicals such as lead, cadmium, zinc, formaldehyde or isocyanates so is kinder to the environment and safer for us applying it too.
